Four steps to prepare for your interview
HA interview preparation HA Job Wiki
Speak. Reflect. Improve.
Practise original role-specific scenarios and review your answer structure.
Try a question freeHow would you respond to an unhappy patient?
Voice answers · Instant feedback
Pick a role. Answer out loud.
Try a 60–90 second answer, then check it against three prompts.
Before handover, you notice a change in a patient’s condition while other work is unfinished. How would you organise your response?
Say your answer out loud. Explain what you would do, who you would ask for help and how you would follow up. Then open the prompts.
Check three steps in your answer
- Did you identify the immediate risk and seek help within your training and departmental arrangements?
- Did you report your observations, timing, completed actions and outstanding work clearly?
- Did you arrange the remaining work and confirm who would receive the handover?
Choose a step you did not explain clearly. Add who you would contact, what you would report and how you would follow up, then try again. Continue in the app for voice practice and follow-up questions.

FAQ
Where can I download HA Job Wiki?
HA Job Wiki is available now on the iOS App Store and Google Play — download it free and start practising right away.
How does practice work?
Pick your grade and topic. The AI interviewer asks questions by voice, you answer by voice, and the AI critiques your content, structure, and delivery. Then you try again. It's like having a panel member on call 24/7.
Do I need internet?
Voice sessions need a connection. Question bank browsing works offline.
Is it free?
There's a free tier covering the core features, plus a paid subscription that unlocks all HA role-specific question banks and advanced analysis.
Are questions updated?
Yes — we review the banks against HA recruitment requirements, official notices and interview trends. Always verify current pay, eligibility and hiring arrangements with the HA.
Which Hospital Authority grades are covered?
All five: RN Registered Nurse, EN Enrolled Nurse, PCA Patient Care Assistant, Administrative & Clerical (Executive Assistant, Clerk), and AH Allied Health. Each grade has its own bank, organised by clinical scenarios, behavioural questions and current-affairs topics.
What does the HA hiring process look like?
Stages vary by role, rank and recruitment round, and may include screening, tests or interviews. Follow the vacancy notice and interview invitation; do not assume every role has a written test or the same panel size. HA Job Wiki provides original simulated scenarios and practice feedback, not official questions or marks.
How should I prepare my HA interview self-introduction?
Prepare a one-to-two-minute version: one line of background, then focus on experience relevant to the grade and your motivation, closing with the HA's service values. The app has a dedicated self-introduction topic — the AI interviewer scores your version point by point and probes the details until it flows.
How is voice data processed?
Voice is sent over an encrypted connection to third-party AI services for transcription, follow-up questions and assessment. The temporary recording on your device is deleted after submission. Third-party processing is subject to their terms and retention policies; see our Privacy Policy for details.
